The New Honda CR-Z Sport is the first hybrid released from any manufacturer that can truly be described as “fun to drive” or “exciting”.  From the exterior, the front of the 2010 Honda CR-Z Hybrid takes its design queues from the always sporty Honda Civic coupe and Accord coupe. At the rear of the CR-Z is an ultra utilitarian hatchback reminiscent of Honda’s wildly popular CR-X platform. In fact, most people who see the CR-Z are immediately reminded of its CR-X predecessor; with the vehicles CR-Z naming helping to cement its position as an evolved CR-X. As in the tradition of the CR-X, the CR-Z exudes performance in every aspect of its design. The Wide Set stance of the New Honda CR-Z gives it excellent cornering capabilities for quick and nimble maneuvering through the tight Los Angeles streets.

Traditionally, a hybrid is not thought of as fun to drive car, as performance usually take a back seat to fuel economy. With the 2010 Honda CR-Z Hybrid however, Honda has found a perfect balance. By keeping the vehicle weight to a scant 2800lbs, throwing in a high revving 1.8L gas engine, and the addition of the torque heavy electric engine, the New Honda CR-Z is a true factory pocket rocket. With the rising costs of fuel, Honda has found that its customers want both a vehicle that is fun to drive, but doesn’t leave them with empty pockets at each fill up. The New Honda CR-Z delivers on both fronts, and what you end up is a vehicle that is sure to set off a resurgence of Honda’s racing and performance following.

The New Honda CR-Z badge is more than just a random string of letters combined into a cool looking name.
